According to Diandian Data, total global mobile game downloads in June 2026 fell 2.04% month on month, but still increased by more than 24.09% year on year compared with last May. Google Play's contribution edged down to 68.2%. India (11.7%), the United States (5.8%), and Brazil (5.6%) ranked as the top regional contributors, while both the data volume and share of leading regions declined. Casual games continued to lead with a share of more than 43%. Among ranked products, hyper-casual, puzzle, and sports simulation games carried relatively high weight, with lightweight gameplay and strong IP/competitive content jointly forming the main growth drivers on the download side.
Top 20 Global Mobile Games by Downloads and Download Growth
In June, Garena's battle royale title Free Fire celebrated its ninth anniversary at the end of the month. Together with the momentum from the Asia Invitational summer online tournament held in mid-June, this drove significant growth across Southeast Asian markets including Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia, stabilized the game's overall monthly performance, and helped it top the global mobile game downloads chart with more than 32.39 million downloads.
The arrow-removal puzzle gameplay that performed strongly in the previous month remained popular in June. Representative apps such as Arrows, Arrows GO!, and Arrow Puzzle continued to appear on the charts. Among them, Arrow Puzzle posted a particularly notable increase in downloads, with monthly downloads rising by more than 43.8% month on month, driven by gains in India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other markets, pushing it into the top 10.
Meowdoku, a new Sudoku title launched by Oakever Games in late April, broke out this month and became the biggest dark horse on the download side in June. Its logic-puzzle gameplay, which combines Sudoku and Minesweeper elements, is related to Fo Xi Xiao Xiao Xiao, a product that previously went viral in China's mini-game market. This title packages the gameplay with a healing cat theme, while its ad creatives achieved excellent conversion efficiency overseas. With more than 11.79 million downloads and nearly 12x download growth, the product jumped to the top of the mobile game download growth chart and entered the Top 20 global mobile game downloads chart.
Also in the casual category, Perfect Makeover Cleaning ASMR, which focuses on cleaning, restoration, and ASMR stress-relief gameplay, likewise reached a download peak in mid-June. It recorded more than 14.78 million downloads in June, up over 74.2% month on month, ranking tenth on the mobile game downloads chart. Its download growth was second only to Meowdoku. Since its mid-May version update, the product has carried out concentrated user acquisition in India, driving nearly threefold download growth in the Indian market for two consecutive months and becoming the main reason for this round of download breakout.
The opening of the FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico continued to lift the popularity of football-related sports games. This month, four football simulation titles--Soccer Superstar, Football League 2026, eFootball, and EA SPORTS FC--all entered the top 10 of the mobile game download growth chart. Judging from the regional data trends of these four products, India, Brazil, and the United States showed the most obvious download increases and were the main drivers of this round of football mobile game download growth.
Honor of Kings, the overseas version of Tencent's Honor of Kings, also achieved clear download growth this month, rising 36.8% month on month and entering the Top 20 global mobile game downloads chart with more than 12.85 million downloads. Its growth mainly came from concentrated player return driven by the major HOK Plus 2.0 update in late June. On the one hand, the new version introduced three Arena of Valor heroes--Annette, Lorion, and Florentino--capturing some IP user traffic. On the other hand, the launch of the new hero Devara, inspired by traditional Indian culture, significantly boosted downloads in the Indian market and became the core factor behind the product's overall download increase in June.
Casual games remained active on the download growth chart. In addition to classic puzzle-solving gameplay, the creative anti-routine platformer Level Devil regained momentum this month. UGC content around speedrun guides, players' breakdown reactions, and memorable unexpected traps continued to gain steady traffic on short-video platforms, becoming an important support for the product's periodic download peaks. In addition, Smash Fest!, a hyper-casual shooting title published by Flow Games and centered on physics-based destruction gameplay, also broke out this month. The product began testing in the United States at the end of last year, then launched globally and started user acquisition at the beginning of this month. From a regional perspective, the U.S. market still contributed more than 40% of its downloads, making it the core market driving this round of rapid scaling.
On the new-game side, the new Pokemon IP mobile title Pokemon Champions officially launched in mid-June. The game had previously landed on Switch in April, building a certain level of awareness among its target audience in advance. Its global mobile launch, cross-platform save compatibility, the appeal of the Pokemon IP, and limited-time login rewards such as Raichu and Mega-mechanic trial events jointly drove rapid scaling, helping the product reach more than 4.56 million downloads in June and enter the top five of the global mobile game download growth chart.

Top 20 Global Mobile Games by Revenue and Revenue Growth
In the June global mobile game revenue chart, the top three products maintained stable rankings. While most leading titles saw data pullbacks, Century Games' flagship SLG title Whiteout Survival performed relatively well this month. From the daily revenue trend, the product's rich weekly themed events continued to provide stable revenue support. The Children's Day Surprise event at the beginning of the month and the mid-month Exalted Troops event both produced obvious revenue peaks, becoming the main reasons behind its 13.6% month-on-month revenue increase and helping the product reach a revenue high for the past year.
Netmarble's new MMORPG SOL: enchant, released in its home market of South Korea, topped the June global mobile game revenue growth chart with estimated revenue of more than $20.47 million, once again validating Netmarble's publishing capabilities in South Korea and the paid-conversion potential of this type of product in the Korean market. Operational incentives during the launch period, including summon tickets, growth potions, increased Boss drop rates, and rewards for the first level-50 players, helped the game quickly form a revenue peak and made it the most prominent new title on the revenue side this month.
Sword x Staff, the international version of Leiting Games' idle RPG Wand and Sword Legend, continued its strong launch performance. This month, with the launch of its collaboration event with KONOSUBA: God's Blessing on This Wonderful World!, the product entered a second revenue peak and generated more than $19.93 million in estimated revenue during its first full month of operation after launch. At the same time, the product's strong performance in T1 Western markets such as the United States, France, and Germany further verified the fit of its gameplay quality, long-term progression framework, and content packaging in international markets.
Also gaining momentum in its second month after launch was Dragon Village 3, the official numbered sequel in Highbrow's Dragon Village series. Concentrated fan return driven by the revival of the classic IP, combined with launch-period benefits such as a seven-day login reward offering a Legendary Dragon Selection Box, helped the product generate more than $6.93 million in estimated revenue in June. In addition, two new Chinese titles continued their strong launch performance: Lingxi Games' Above the Grandmaster and Lilith's Clash of Critters kept releasing revenue potential in domestic and overseas markets respectively, both making the chart.
Kuro Games' flagship title Wuthering Waves carried the momentum of its second-anniversary celebration this month. On June 8, it launched version 3.4, The Dream Not Dreamed, and opened a major collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The product's first collaboration introduced the new collaboration storyline At Dream's Edge, the Night City-style area Somnoire: Night City, and popular Resonators Lucy and Rebecca, driving another 29.4% month-on-month increase in monthly revenue. With estimated monthly revenue of more than $48.07 million, its second-highest record to date, the game returned to the Top 20 global mobile game revenue chart.
Bilibili's Three Kingdoms-themed SLG title San Guo: Mou Ding Tian Xia also saw a revenue breakout this month. In June, it entered the top five of the revenue growth chart with month-on-month growth of more than 297.2% and estimated monthly revenue growth of over $9.67 million. At the beginning of the month, the annual seasonal scenario Red Cliffs: Stormy Waves invited Hong Yuzhou, who played Zhou Yu in the 1994 Romance of the Three Kingdoms TV series, to appear in a brand film in his classic look. In mid-June, the second-anniversary celebration and a crossover collaboration with the Portuguese national team further generated significant buzz in the domestic market, effectively driving core SLG users to return, while continuously launched return benefits further improved retention and ultimately converted into revenue growth.
NEOWIZ's anime-style RPG BrownDust2 celebrated its third anniversary this month. Since the anniversary event launched on June 4, the successive additions of three R Squad swimsuit costumes, including Ocean Pioneer Rubencia, and exclusive equipment quickly pushed the product's revenue data to a peak, with daily estimated revenue exceeding $550,000 and setting a new single-day high since 2026. Stimulated by the continued anniversary event rollout and long-term benefit distribution, its June revenue increased by more than 319% month on month, successfully entering the global mobile game revenue growth chart.
