Drawing on the mobile app big-data platform Diandian Data (https://app.diandian.com/), Diandian Chuhai has compiled the Top 30 Chinese app and game publishers by overseas revenue based on the App Store and Google Play, hoping to help industry practitioners better understand trends and changes in China's mobile-app globalization market.

The statistical period for this article is July 1 to July 31, 2026.

Top 30 Chinese Non-Game Publishers by Overseas Revenue in July

During the statistical period, the overall ranking of Chinese non-game publishers by overseas revenue in July continued its stable trend, with almost no changes in the positions of leading and mid-ranking companies. ByteDance continued to lead the ranking, followed by Ruiqi Software and Meitu (HK:01357) in second and third place. Among them, Meitu (HK:01357) continued its upward momentum thanks to the stable performance of multiple image-editing apps such as AirBrush and BeautyCam in overseas markets including Europe and the United States. Its products have continued to embed AI capabilities into high-frequency scenarios such as portrait retouching and lighting adjustment. Over the past two months, the company also launched World Cup-themed campaigns such as 'Relight every football memory,' further driving subscription-member growth and paid conversion. This helped the publisher's overseas revenue in July grow by more than 11.7% month on month, consolidating its top-three position.

Adjustments in the middle of the ranking were also relatively mild, with most publishers seeing small increases in monthly revenue to varying degrees. iQIYI's (NASDAQ:IQ) international video-streaming app iQIYI launched a Razer Gold membership promotional rewards campaign in Southeast Asia in late July, which showed clear results in major markets such as Thailand and pushed the product's revenue data to a short-term peak during the period. Combined with the continued long-tail effect of popular dramas from the first half of the year, such as Zhu Yu and How Dare You!?, this helped both the product and the publisher reverse their previous overseas revenue decline in July.

Daily Yoga's overseas revenue in July grew by more than 15.3% month on month, and its ranking advanced by one place again. The chair-yoga program and summer-themed challenge launched in the July 10 update of its flagship fitness app Daily Yoga drove a short-term recovery and reversed the previous month's data decline. Another dance-fitness app under the company, Dancefitme, continued the growth momentum brought by summer fat-loss demand. In July, it intensively launched a series of feature upgrades, including fat-burning Tabata training courses and a 'Music' category entry, which promoted subscription conversion, helped the product continue its month-by-month rise, and became the main driver of the publisher's sustained overseas revenue growth in recent months.

At the lower end of the ranking, Kuaishou (HK:01024) returned to the list this month. Its short-video social app Kwai may have benefited from World Cup-related enthusiasm in July, with data showing clear growth in several major revenue-source markets and overseas monthly revenue increasing by more than 14.5% month on month. Growth was especially notable in Switzerland and Canada, possibly related to Switzerland's historic advance to the World Cup quarterfinals and the short-term rise in local attention to the tournament. In addition, Xiaoyi Technology was another publisher whose ranking improved last month.

Top 30 Chinese Game Publishers by Overseas Revenue in July

After entering the summer season, version updates, anniversary celebrations, IP collaborations, and international esports events were launched intensively. As a result, ranking fluctuations on the July game-publisher list were significantly greater than those on the non-game publisher list. Looking at the leading publishers, the top four still maintained a clear data advantage. Century Games (SZ:002602) continued to lead the ranking, although its overseas revenue dipped slightly this month after setting new highs for several consecutive months.

Tencent (HK:00700) saw its overseas revenue grow by more than 47.3% month on month this month, the largest increase among publishers on this edition of the list, and its ranking rose above Microfun to No. 2. The growth was driven by two of its key products, PUBG MOBILE and GODDESS OF VICTORY. The former launched Version 4.5 in early July and simultaneously opened a collaboration with the well-known anime IP Naruto Shippuden, attracting a large number of anime users and concentrated returning activity from veteran players, which drove the product's overseas revenue to a new high for the year. The latter benefited from the 'WAVE TO YOU' summer event launched at the beginning of the month; two limited summer SSR characters and reruns of previous characters released players' gacha demand in a concentrated way, pushing estimated single-day overseas revenue above US$2 million at its peak. Intensive summer updates for the two mature products jointly formed the main driver of the publisher's substantial overseas revenue growth this month.

miHoYo saw a long-awaited multi-product recovery in July, with similarly notable data growth. Genshin Impact launched its 'Luna VIII' version at the beginning of the month, with the highly popular new character Sandrone and a rerun banner in late July successively releasing players' pull demand. Honkai: Star Rail welcomed Version 4.4 and a collaboration with the classic game IP Fate, driving significant revenue growth in major revenue-source regions such as Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, China. Zenless Zone Zero received its second-anniversary version at the end of the month, with new characters and first-top-up reset events helping the product's estimated single-day revenue quickly exceed US$4.22 million. Driven by the concentrated breakout of these three products, the publisher's overseas revenue increased by more than 34.2% month on month.

In the middle of the ranking, MOONTON's MOBA title Mobile Legends: Bang Bang officially began its collaboration with Street Fighter 6 at the start of the month, launching multiple limited skins and supporting events around classic characters such as Ryu, Ken, and Chun-Li. At the same time, the simultaneous advance of international esports events during the summer effectively improved product activity in core markets including Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Together, these factors drove monthly product revenue up by more than 28.1% month on month and helped the publisher's ranking rebound by five places.

Another publisher returning to the middle of the ranking was XD Inc. (HK:02400), which recorded the largest ranking increase this month. The international version of its product Heartopia successively launched content in July including the 'Whale-Seeking Season,' a Sanrio IP collaboration, and 'Heart-Carved Covenant.' New outfits and collection gameplay received positive feedback in markets such as Japan and the United States. Meanwhile, another product under the company, Torchlight: Infinite, became the main driver of this month's data increase. The title launched its new SS13 'Night Watcher' season in July, and the concentrated arrival of new legendary Pactspirits and supporting boons, such as 'Valkyrie's Night Patrol' and 'Orchid Heart Firearm,' helped product revenue reverse the previous season-end decline in one stroke, growing by more than 12 times month on month.

At the lower end of the ranking, Glacier Network's (SZ:300533) overseas revenue growth this month was mainly driven by its new SLG title X-Clash. After continuous user acquisition in the second half of last year, the overseas users accumulated in the early stage gradually entered deeper progression at year-end. Revenue data has remained at a high level since the beginning of this year, and in July it once again approached its previous monthly revenue peak, driven by key markets such as the United States. Powered by this product, the publisher's overseas revenue grew by more than 11.3% month on month this month, achieving a notable ranking increase at a time when most publishers at the lower end of the list saw their data decline.

In addition, publishers with notable ranking gains last month included Yostar, IGG (HK:00799), Eskyfun, and Loongcheer Game.
