With the arrival of the Lunar New Year, major game developers have concentrated their resources on laying out their main products. While the top products have reached a data peak, it has also had a siphon effect on the entire mobile game market, compressing the growth space of new games in the short term and having a significant impact on the domestic and even overseas new game markets. Therefore, most domestic manufacturers also choose to stagger the launch time of new games with the Spring Festival schedule, in order to avoid this special period.

It is worth noting that based on the overall data of the newly listed tours in this issue, the Spring Festival period has led to a visible decline in the domestic new tour market data this month, while also having a significant impact on the overseas market. This also reflects the increasing influence of the Chinese market on the global mobile gaming market year by year.



Similarly, looking back at the data of two new domestic games released in late January, two products with certain influence IP support did not show significant growth in both ends of the data, especially in terms of revenue, after the data statistical cycle was extended to the same level. The reason for this is similar to the situation and circumstances of several products in the previous month. Firstly, the ocean adventure simulation and management game "Dave the Diver" is adapted from the popular independent game IP in recent years and released in China by Heartbeat Network. The PC version of the game was developed by the independent South Korean team Mintrack and quickly became popular after its official release at the end of June 2023. It was eventually acquired by the well-known South Korean game manufacturer NEXON in September 2024. This work is derived from the WeChat mini game of the same name, and its background setting adopts the classic post apocalyptic horror theme that has been popular frequently. The international version of the game, Palmon: Survival, was released at the end of 2024, less than a year after the official release of the "pioneer" of this genre, "Beast Palu". As one of the alternative mobile games to this gameplay, although it did not reap the immediate traffic dividend during Palu's peak popularity period, it has also won the recognition of some users through long-term operation and update polishing. According to DianDian data statistics, the international version of the game has accumulated about 7.71 million downloads in 2025, with an estimated revenue of over 31.77 million US dollars. Last month, the game also set a new monthly revenue record of over 7 million US dollars. This time, with the return of mature products, although the initial performance was not particularly affected by the Spring Festival period, its overseas achievements may have given it the confidence for long-term operation.



Finally, the side scrolling action mobile game "Arcade Dinosaurs" was developed by Caohua Interactive based on the same name arcade game IP and exclusively authorized by the legitimate manga "XenozoicTales". The Android version of the game was released in 2022, and the overall gameplay inherits the classic arcade style horizontal action gameplay, replacing the joystick with buttons to lower the operating threshold. The overall graphics and experience are not much different from the classic version, so players have brought relatively considerable downloads to the game under the influence of nostalgia. However, the lack of innovation and optimization changes determines that the game's stickiness to users is difficult to sustain.



Turning our focus to overseas, we still saw 13 new games enter our field of vision last month, with the overall number remaining the same as the previous month. However, the overall data performance is far inferior to before, with a significant gap in revenue for top products. From the overall situation of the listed products' manufacturers, the most obvious one is the reduction of domestic manufacturers, which is due to the competition during the Chinese New Year period in China. The overall decline in data for new game products on the list also proves the increasing influence of Chinese manufacturers and games on the global mobile gaming market.

In addition to the "upgraded Wordle" puzzle game "NYT Crossplay: Play and Spell" launched by The New York Times Company, which benefited from platform advantages to maintain stable traffic and sustained download growth, the mahjong elimination game "Click Wood" released by Singaporean manufacturer Heartsnet also received decent download volume in February. At the same time, the popular product "Three Kingdoms: Conquering the World" released by Bilibili at the end of the month in the Fanzhong area, which has made a name for itself in the domestic Three Kingdoms themed SLG products, also showed its dark horse status in February. After undertaking the launch event, the linkage activity with 'Fire Phoenix Ignites the Prairie' helped it further increase its popularity, which in turn helped the product achieve an estimated revenue of over 1.79 million US dollars in the first month in the Fanzhong region. Sega's new football management simulation game "SEGA FOOTBALL CLUB CHAMPIONS" also demonstrated the global influence of its IP in February, with an estimated revenue of $5.76 million for the first month.



Returning to the situation of new tourism that made the list in February, there were no phenomenal product releases with income gaps leading in this issue. The East Asian region, represented by Chinese manufacturers, may be shrinking resources under the pressure of domestic Spring Festival competition, while the performance of overseas manufacturers remains stable as always.

Still classify overseas new travel products based on income data. The first tier is occupied by two products with estimated revenues around $3 million. One of them is a pixelated fun adventure RPG mobile game "Brave Teasing Dragon" developed by Ujoygames. The game adopts a retro 16 bit pixel style, with scenes and character designs similar to the art style of handheld games from decades ago. The UI is simple and the color scheme is bright, creating a core concept of "joy and relaxation" as a whole. Combined with the gameplay of placing adventures, it is a product route that has been repeatedly popular in recent years, recognized and verified by the market.



In addition to its positioning as a "fun+light RPG", its fusion of popular gameplay such as "character chaos", "barrage socializing", "mining+AFK", and the emotional route of traditional sword and magic themes have also laid the foundation for its explosive potential within a fixed theme audience. According to DianDian data statistics, the game earned an estimated revenue of over 3.78 million US dollars (approximately RMB 26.03 million) in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan in its first month of release in February, and topped the global new travel revenue data for this month.

The second is the first Roguelite survival action game in the series, titled "HUNTER × HUNTER NEN × SURVIVO," jointly developed by Bushiroad and WonderPlanet in Japan and officially licensed by the "Full Hunter" IP. Secondly, there is the mecha girl themed RPG released by GameTree, called 'DairyBulos-CO'. As a popular anime theme in Japan, Mech Girl also has a considerable audience. The overall gameplay of this game does not break away from the traditional RPG card draw and turn based combat mechanism. The selling points focus on rare characters and various exquisite character portraits with different styles. The main plot revolves around the apocalypse theme of alien technology invasion, with no achievements or mistakes. The current performance may also meet expectations.



Products with income below one million US dollars are classified as the third tier. It is worth noting that the dark themed game "Last Asylum: Plague" under Sanqi Interactive Entertainment was also released overseas in mid month. The game is set against the backdrop of the 14th century European "Black Death" pandemic, where players take on the role of a plague doctor wearing an iconic bird beak mask. The main plot revolves around starting a temporary clinic from scratch in the wasteland of the apocalypse. While continuing the Western style doomsday theme, the promotional side of the game also adopts a mature model of "leisure traffic diversion → strategic retention". Although it did not experience explosive sales on the day of its launch, from the trend of its February revenue accounting for over 53.8% in the US market data, its overall data is still continuously reaching new highs.



In addition, Ubisoft officially launched the official mobile game "Rainbow Six Mobile" for its well-known multiplayer shooting game IP "Rainbow Six" at the end of the month. The development of this work took nearly 7 years, and there were many twists and turns in the testing process.
